Happy New Year!

We celebrated the coming of 2009 with salsa and chips. Champagne (ginger ale and juice) was toasted as well.

The Show Goes On

Even though we had a snow day on Friday, the concert still went on. Our singing talent was showcased today. Thank you to Mrs. Cardillo for all her hard work. Here are some pictures highlighting our star moments.

We waited patiently in the hall to go on stage.

Then it was time to sing for the parents.
Mrs. Cardillo even got flowers from the PTA.

Crazy Candy House Creations!

December 11th there was a flurry of activity and the crumbs of chocolate graham crackers in the air. It was time to construct the candy houses!
Thank you to all of the parents that were able to come in and volunteer their time and skills.

We had such a great time.

The next day we got to decorate our houses with lots of candy. We were very good and did not eat any of the candy!

We used candy canes, mints, Skittles, gumdrops, marshmallows, and Teddy Grahams.
Of course we used lots and lots of icing!
Everyone can pick the houses up after the Holiday Concert next Friday, December 19th.
